i don't remember it snowing this much here since i was a kid.we've got maybe four inches of snow now.i'm kind of bummed that today is my last day off until maybe after the new year.i want to spend the day playing in the snow with my nephews,or drinking hot cocoa by a roaring fire.we used to play uno by the fireside,put candy canes in our cocoa.
a few months ago,my church got rid of a bunch of "garbage".they put all of it on the side of the church for the garbage truck to pick up.some of the stuff was amazing!i found arms from mannequins,foam blocks,fake palm tree trunks..and an eight foot tall eiffel tower.since it was garbage,i took the eiffel tower home.and it's been shoved behind my couch ever since.
that is,until my mom had the idea to string lights around it and stick it in our backyard.today,we got those light clips,placed them around the eiffel tower and strung white LED lights around it.we put it up on a hill in our backyard,along with a few of those neat light up deer.it's pretty amazing..or,at least the concept is.once we got a good look at it from our house..it looks a bit...phallic.it'll be interesting to hear what the neighbors think.

that's a conversation i wish i could hear.
oh man..the drive to work tomorrow should be interesting.
